Prayer Watch Christian Center

These are the four things we're here for:

Love each other as brothers and sisters

Christian love should leap over the barriers that come between people.  We want to love people regardless of their color, gender, age, or economic status.  An "everybody is important" love should be a mark of a Christian church.

Jesus said: By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.  (John 13:35)

Encounter God together in prayer and worship

Each of us has the privilege of meeting with God personally.  However, God also wants to meet with us together.  When we come together for worship and prayer, we expect God to keep His promise and be there with us.

Jesus said: For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.  (Matthew 18:20)

Train each other to live the life God called us to

There is much for each of us to learn.  Some of what we learned growing up wasn't right in God's sight and we need to change our thoughts and actions.  We need to work together to learn God's ways and apply them to our lives.

Jesus said: If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.  (John 8:31-32)

Reach out to those Jesus already paid for

We believe that everyone is important to God.  Jesus paid a high price for us all.  God wants all to be saved and He has given Christians the privilege of telling others.  As we reach out together, our love for others and our ability to reach them will grow.

The Bible says that Jesus was slain and with His blood "purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation." (Revelation 5:9)
